Off Road Ranger

4426 is a 2006 Polaris Ranger, 4x4, 700ci EFI engine with enclosed ROPS cab. The Ranger is equipped with Mattrack ATV- UR tracks. Equipment mounted on this vehicle:
  1. Tank - Aluminum - Water - 96 gallons
  2. Pump - Honda centrifugal powered by a 2.5 HP gas engine
  3. Stokes Basket mountings
  4. Winch - 4,000 lb cap. With front and rear mounts

The "Ranger" was designed to operate off road in adverse conditions. This vehicle is transported to the scene in an 18 foot enclosed trailer. The trailer contains equipment to support the Ranger's operations. The Ranger can transport up to 5 people depending on job assignment, terrain, and weather conditions. The pump is capable of supplying two ¾ inch hoses and the Stokes basket can be mounted on the vehicle for patient transport. Our goal is to increase the safety and effectiveness of our fire fighters to better serve the people of our community. In an environment of limited manpower, our continuing goal is to complete each incident, as efficiently and safely as possible.
